We have added the ability to shoot in the true Anamorphic widescreen format for films and documentaries. Anamorphic is the cinematic format that is long-known in the film industry for a wider field of view, shallow depth of field, stretched bokeh, oval-shaped lens flare. To achieve this effect, an anamorphic lens or adapter is required. We purchased the Century Precision Optics 1.33X anamorphic 16:9 adapter, which along with the MJPEG anamorphic hack on the Panasonic GH2 HDSLR, will give us the ability to shoot video in native 1920×810 resolution 2.35:1 aspect ratio Anamorphic widescreen for that truly cinematic look.

Coming Soon:

Terry Entertainment is in the process of researching and acquiring equipment for remote-controlled aerial videography (capturing video from a bird’s-eye-view). We will soon be using the Gaui 330X-S quadricopter, a very stable remote-controlled four blade helicopter that has very level flight maneuvering and good payload capabilities for attaching a small HD camera and a wireless system for First-Person-View flying. Alongside the Gaui 330X-S quadricopter, our camera of choice will be the brand new GoPro HD Hero2, a wifi-capable compact HD camera widely used in extreme sports videography for unique angles, that has full 1080p and 720p HD video capabilities and a 170 degree Frame-Of-View lens for capturing wide angles.

All of this unique equipment will allow us to provide cost-effective aerial videography services to clients who are on a low budget. Remote-Controlled aerial videography is both safer and more affordable than using a full-sized helicopter video service, which is often very expensive for even the most basic video service from an aerial point of view. This unique service will open up immense possibilities and potential clients in all areas of film, television and video production. Please check back to our site for more updates on this new service.
