Pamela Leigh Leonard, 63, died Thursday, March 23, 2017 in her residence with her loving husband of 38 years, by her side. She is a native of Henderson, North Carolina and has lived in Hampton Roads for most of her life. She is the daughter of Grace Stone Wingrove and the late Samuel E. Wingrove. Pam graduated from Kempsville High School, class of 1972. She worked and retired from Sentara Norfolk General and Sentara Leigh Memorial hospitals after 18 years and most recently retired from Lifenet Health as a Recovery Resource Manager after 25 years employment. Survivors include her husband, Robert Carlin Leonard of Chesapeake and her two devoted children, Eric Carlin Leonard and his wife Brianna Sally Leonard and Shanna Marie Teachey and her husband Robert Werth Whitfield Teachey, II all of Portsmouth, her mother of Virginia Beach, her sister, Gloria Jean Harrison of Chesapeake, her brothers; Samuel E. Wingrove, Jr. of Eugene, Oregon and Duane E. Wingrove of Virginia Beach. She was an adored Mimi to her two grandchildren, Liam Robert Teachey and Amelia Marie Leonard. Michael Siegfried Dahm passed away in his Chesapeake home on Friday, March 13, 2015. Born in Berlin, Germany on February 26, 1915, Mike was a proud American who loved his adopted country, of which he became a citizen in August of 1957. Mike was predeceased by his treasured Eva, his wife of 71 years. He is survived by his son, Walt of Casleton, Vermont, son, Ken of Chesapeake, Virginia, six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, a nephew and two great-nephews. Mike had celebrated his 100th birthday only two weeks prior to his passing, surrounded by family, friends and neighbors. Sandra Nelson Terry departed this life and entered the gates of heaven on March 23, 2015. Sandy was born in Harrisville, WV, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Martha Nelson. She was predeceased by sister, Loretta Stickel and brother, Ronnie Nelson. Survivors include her loving husband Jay Terry, daughter, Shannon Chaffin of Gloucester, VA, a step daughter, Whitney Coleman of Chesapeake, two step sons, Wesley Terry of Chesapeake, Ivan Terry of Aransas Pass, TX, thirteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister Mary Lou Cox of Vienna, WV. Sandy was formerly employed at CHKD as payroll manager before having to retire on disability due to her long battle with cancer. She was an active member of Great Bridge Church of Christ and was a member of the worship team. Sandy had a passion for music and singing. She began singing for the Lord as a little girl. She played the piano, organ, accordion and various other instruments. Many have said that Sandy had a very kind and loving nature. She loved the Lord and shared that love with everyone she knew. Eva Charlotte Dahm went home to be with the Lord on November 14, 2012. Eva was a loving wife, a dearly treasured mother, the sweetest grandmother ever and a wonderful friend to everyone she knew. Eva was well-loved by her family, friends and her church family. She was a perfect German hostess to the end, as even her nurses were offered coffee and cookies. She lived a long, full life surrounded by the ones she loved. On December 27, 2012, a celebration of life service at Faith Community Church was held in Eva’s honor on what would have been her 93rd birthday.
