Jim Naugle Graveside Service

James (Jim) O. Naugle went home to be with the Lord on June 25, 2016. He was born and raised in Johnstown, PA. Jim served his country in the United States Navy for 30 years. Among his medals and decorations are the Navy Commendation Medal, Meritorious Unit Commendation, Navy Expeditionary Medal, National Defense Service Medal and the Vietnam Service Medal. He retired from the Navy on April 1, 1982.

After retirement, Jim was employed by BDM Corporation and then was a Project Manager for the American Systems Corporation. He then became a volunteer driver for Lee’s Friends as well as for the Red Cross, averaging 20,000 miles per year. He was a devoted, competitive and good sports-minded tennis player until this year. Jim was so proud of his family and loved them immeasurably. He will be dearly missed, but will forever live in our hearts.

A graveside service with full military honors was held in Jim’s honor at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Norfolk, VA on July 30, 2016. Dear family members and friends attended to pay their respects to Jim’s life.
